About
I am Amanda and this is my blog. I believe we can live beautifully and sustainably without buying expensive things like hybrid cars and solar panels (though I do think a range of tactics is essential in the fight against global warming and preserving life on earth). For that reason, I am interested in home gardens and food politics with a do-it-yourself mentality. Healthy living is a human right. Access to whole, natural food, clean air and water should not be controlled by corporate interest. Through this blog I hope to demonstrate the little things each of us can do to increase our freedom through healthier lifestyles and to highlight people’s struggles to achieve healthy living around the globe.

Hi amanda! I guess I don’t have your email anywhere, I guess I could have used Facebook instead but I’ve been laying off it, and anyway I found your blog, I’m so proud. All I wanted to share was this link with you:

Follow it and find out.

Hi Amanda!
I am a fellow Santa Cruzan and it seems like we share some beliefs. I’m happy to have come across your blog and will make a point to visit again. Just wanted to say “hi”!
also Oh My God how could I not know that the Farmers Market was up and running for spring?!
